Presentations

Across a range of venues and events the Captain Swing team and its partners are making presentations about the history and the project. Here is a pick of the best.

SWING ARC English Project.jpg

Making presentations at conferences and free-standing events are essential to promoting the wider understanding and appreciation of the Swing Riots as well as their cultural and linguistic context. Speakers are drawn from the core team members of the Bicentenary Commemoration project and other experts.

See below for a selection of links to presentations which are featured in their ‘raw’ state as delivered at the time. Although they have many common features they are also normally customised to the venue or the character of the event. It has not been possible to include the accompanying illustrations.
